Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Adventures FAQs

What training do the rafting guides have?

Our guides are required to participate in a pre-season training trip each season. They are certified in Wilderness First Aid and trained in river rescue techniques. All trips include first aid and safety supplies.

Are there any age requirements for rafting?

For the safety and enjoyment of children and parents, all participants must be six years of age or older. This is an industry standard and dictated by our insurance underwriter.

I have some dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate my needs?

Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. Please notify your vacation specialist when you’re making your reservation so that the necessary arrangements can be made in our kitchen as well as your downriver lodges.

Do I need to have rafting experience?

No. It doesn’t matter how much experience you have. Our trained guides are experts in navigating the Rogue River and will ensure that you have a great day. The Rogue River is synonymous with being a great entry level river. It’s rated as a class III river so in the summer we have warm water, fun beaches, and gentle whitewater. The Rogue is an excellent river to visit.

What are your deposit and cancellation policies?

We have a very limited season and we’re often sold out.

Multi-Day Trip Cancellation Policy: We ask for a deposit of 50% at the time of booking for multi-day trips. Our cancellation policy allows you to cancel and receive a refund as long as you cancel before 90 days from launch. Once we’re inside of 90 days from launch you would be sacrificing your deposit if you needed to cancel.
Single Day Trip Cancellation Policy: We ask for a full payment at the time of booking a day trip. This fee is fully refundable up until 24 hours from launch.

Trip Insurance Recommendation: Because our Multi-Day Cancellation Policy is strict we highly encourage our guests to purchase trip insurance to protect their investment. You’re welcome to purchase this from a number of vendors on the internet. We’ve found www.travelinsured.com as an affordable option.
