This month Backpacker magazine reviewed the fantastic Rogue River Hiking Trail. When we were contacted by the magazine to do the article they requested something different for a more "hard core" hiker. We put on a thinking cap and came up with the "works". This new trip features 4 days of backpacking from the bottom of the trail to the top, then a fantastic 2 day rafting trip back down river to your car. You have the choice of staying in lodges or camping out under the stars. Read below about the trip and look at our website at www.wildrogue.com/hiking for more information. Thanks Brad Hike and Raft the Rogue

We are really happy with an article that came out this week in the new publication that Outside Magazine has produced. Outside's GO is a Travel & Style Magazine for Men. They did a great article on the top 12 treks on the planet. We are happy to say our 4 day supported hike on the Rogue River Trail was chosen. There's just nothing better to see the name of our company in a national magazine. We hope you enjoy. Thanks Brad Outside’s GO Magazine April/May 2008

It was written by Oregon's former governor John Kitzhaber. It's a nice tribute to the Rogue and highlights the actions of "Save the Wild Rogue" campaign.

When I was a boy my father took me camping on the banks of the great rivers of western Oregon -- rivers with magical names like Santiam, Umpqua and Rogue. It was there that I first watched wild salmon fight their way upstream against the current, hurtling their silver bodies skyward with the spray breaking the light into rainbows.
